The Concours Detail represents the ultimate in interior and exterior car

From the simple pride of having the most amazing looking vehicle to preparing for a show or even getting the highest value when selling, our Concours Detail Service is aimed at giving your vehicle the ultimate finish.
As it is possible for us to spend days or even a week or more getting some vehicles in the best possible condition, we'll always thoroughly discuss what you want and what we think you will need before starting.We promise that there will never be any hidden costs and that we'll always take the best possible care of your vehicle.
What work we do for the Concours Detail varies widely from customer to customer and vehicle to vehicle as we look to provide exactly what is needed. However, there are usually 4 main stages which, broadly, include:
Cleansing
- A gentle citrus based pre-wash treatment and rinse of the exterior of your car (including wheels)
- A thorough clean of the wheels using a ph balanced solution
- Extra time spent on all wheel details using specialist brushes
- A foaming of the exterior of your car using a cleaning and conditioning agent followed by a rinse
- A wash of the outside of your car and wheels using a high quality shampoo and lambs wool mitt
- Wheel arch cleaning
- A rinse and hand dry of your car
- A cleanse of all door, bonnet and boot shuts
- Gentle removal of any remaining bugs and tar from the exterior paintwork
- Interior and exterior glass cleaning
- A thorough interior vacuuming
- Carpet cleansing
- Leather cleaning using a pH balanced solution
- Additional attention to every part of the vehicle from rubber seals to petrol caps and spare wheels
Rejuvenation and Correction
- An extended examination of your vehicle's current interior and exterior condition including the recording of paint depth readings using an electronic gauge
- An exterior claying to remove surface contaminants and leave the paintwork beautifully smooth
- Initial paintwork cleansing to prepare for any paintwork correction
- Extensive multi-step exterior paintwork correction to remove/reduce unsightly swirls and light scratches
- Exterior and interior vinyl and rubber rejuvenation with UV protection
- Cleaning and polishing of any chrome/aluminium surfaces
- An additional hand wash, rinse and dry of the exterior of the car
- The machine application of a paintwork cleanser to enhance the gloss and ensure good wax bonding
Protect and Shine
- Extended detail cleaning of all badges/car logos
- Interior and exterior Glass polishing
- Polishing of all exterior light clusters
- Application of a leather conditioner
- Application of fabric guard to protect carpets/upholstery
- Hand application of a coat of our highest quality long life exterior paint sealant
- A clean and buff of the wheels using a high grade wheel polish and sealant
- The application of a show car tyre dressing
- A brush off of all exterior surfaces and shut lines
- A buff and inspection to enhance the shine and ensure that nothing has been overlooked
Layering and Final Inspections
- After an appropriate cure time, the application of an additional coat of long life exterior paint sealant
- After an appropriate cure time, the application of the first layer of high quality carnauba wax
- After an appropriate cure time, the application of a further layer of high quality carnauba wax to the bodywork and wheels
- A final brush off of all surfaces and shut lines
- A final detailing "spritz", buff and inspection
- A discussion with you of the work undertaken to ensure that absolutely everything has been done
- If you are attending a show we are happy to supply final 'on the day' preparation
